My side, your side...of the bed. My side...yo side..of the bed. ANYWAYS!  Good evening to my readers and the other three people who somehow ended up seeing this. I need to stay off of Son of Baldwin and Anti-Intellect Blog before I mess around and get my WHOLE life.  First and foremost, I want to begin by telling you that I wasn't a full on cretin before I started reading their posts.  I was actually a pretty decent person, so I think.  Alas, one thing I always believe..is that you are never too old to learn.  When you get to the point where you think you know everything and cannot learn anything else, then you have failed yourself by way of sheer arrogance.  I love to learn, especially if it undoes incorrect information. In other words, if I find out the truth, I really need that in my life. **potential trigger warnings** One thing that I admit I had to learn was how to stand up for women.  I remember one Tumblr episode in which I reblogged a quote from another lady

Paula Deen done been all exposed by the good people of Amurrica for using that word that begins with an "n" but ends with a side of "igger".  There was this sweet little deposition in which she had to answer a gang o' questions about stuff. In the midst of all the funny ass Twitblockery from #PaulasBestDishes, she concocted an apology in which she was all sorry for all that went down.  To add FURTHER fuel to the fire, Paula's tweet asking us to "take advantage of all of that fresh watermelon comin’ our way with this refreshing cooler at your next get-together!" was taken down..thus adding more of the "you are a racist" icing to that sweet ass butter cake of sorrow. Puh-sonally, I don't think that this whole saga is worth all the high blood pressure. I guess one should simply say "at least you KNOW she used it" or that "she could have lied about the shit". I like Kim Kardashian. Why does it feel like I should be in a meeting for this?  LMAO! While I have only watched "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" a handful of times, I actually have taken a liking to her over the years.  If anything, I think this blog may be what gets a slushie thrown at me.  That's fine, just don't get it on Le Yukon.  Allow me to share why I like her: * She managed to make a killing off of her brand .  That sheet takes TALENT!  The web often asks "what is she famous for?  A sex tape?!"  Hell, did you know who she was before her and Ray J had a documented rolling in le hay?  Nope.  Somehow, someway, she used her existence to make a grip.  That's very admirable.  In essence, isn't that what we do when we go on an interview?  Selling yourself to make grip?  Sounds like the same thing. * She didn't follow the rules .  Typical gender roles frown upon a woman being all boldlike about their relationships.  Kim isn't th

I really tried to hold on to my belief of not bashing parents on Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day.  I jokingly save my roasts until the Monday after, out of respect for the real parents who do what is expected.  I have said that I would break the cycle of spending special days talking about the fools we all know of.  Ask anyone you know, and they'll tell you about a mom or dad who didn't do their jobs correctly.  Hell, search any news site and you will find examples of piss poor parenting.  We have always had examples of what is wrong with fulfilling your God given role, and, unfortunately, we will continue to have them as long as humans decide that their needs far surpass the needs of their children.
