So, I titled this blog "Tamara Mitchell-Ford & Britney Spears..." Why? Because they are two train wrecks. That's a very strong statement to make, I'm sure. However, please tell me that they aren't similar! *Both have children that don't appear to be cared for well (I stress "appear") by them, and end up with their respective fathers because they are in some kind of mess. *Both of them have kids by men that get teased, heckled, disrespected, and who have other kids they don't appear to take care of. *Both of them need help. *Both of them have gotten help that doesn't appear to work. *Both of them keep getting slaps on the wrist. *Both of them still haven't seen that they are truly in trouble. You see the similarities? I know I do. However, I hope that the both of them look at the mess they have been in and realize that they are hurting themselves, their families, and people who care for them. Hopefully, Britney will look at that MT...

I'm just going to "Let the Feeling Flow" like Peabo Bryson. *Where the hell is Peabo Bryson anyway?* Okay, I'm at my desk eating some nachos right. For some reason, eating nachos makes me think. Chicken does too, but that's for later on. Ralph totally packed my a lunch for work today because he got tired of me coming home with a "buried n-word you need to eat" headache. What are the chances of my workgroup doing a United Way drive with nachos, pina coladas, and daquiris? *They are virgin. I also had a flashback to what I was doing the day the Towers fell. I was returning to Richardson Towers after a drunken night out with some of my U of M crew. It took my dear friend Thad to write a blog about the Jena 6 for me to cosign to. Of course you have to be under a rock to not know about this, but needless to say, this is an outright travesty. The head prosecutor stated that the boys assaulted the victim with a dangerous weapon--a shoe. A woman called in to the Michael Baisden show and said that we should help get these dangerous weapons off of the street. I agree...so here's the DA's address to mail those dangerous weapons in: Mr. Reed Walters, District Attorney 28th Judicial District Attorney's Office P.O. Box 1940 Jena, LA 71342 Any old shoes you have should be mailed in to this man ASAP. Besides, we don't want any kids to get a hold of these weapons. p.s.-wear black on 9/20/07 in support of Mychal Bell.
